About William
I recently submitted my PhD thesis in Climate Science at the University of Cambridge, where I studied mathematical modelling of clouds. In my A levels I studied maths, further maths, physics and chemistry. I then went on to continue these subjects at the University of Nottingham where I studied Natural Sciences and achieved a First Class degree with Honours. By the end of this degree I was specialised in Mathematical Physics, taking courses in subjects such as General Relativity and Advanced Techniques for Differential Equations. I then studied a master's degree at the University of Exeter in Mathematical Modelling in Climate Science. This then led me to my PhD at Cambridge.

I offer tutoring in maths (including further maths), physics and chemistry to A level and GCSE students. Tutoring is available to suit any stage of your studies, whether you have exams soon or want to get ahead over the summer break.
I can tailor lessons to your needs, whether you need to understand the fundamentals of a subject or need lots of practice of exam questions. I also think it is very beneficial to push students with more advanced examples (such as from university exams) as this can make the questions at your level seem easy.
I have 3 years' experience of tutoring undergraduate students at the University of Cambridge in subjects related to physics and mechanics.

William was my supervisor for a Mechanics module in Engineering at Cambridge. He is always well prepared, and highly engaged in the discussions. He is highly knowledgeable, and takes the time between supervisions to do further research if I still had open questions.
