About Milly

I am a classically trained opera singer and I work as a freelance musician in London and internationally. I have been tutoring alongside my singing work for six years now, and it is a very important part of my career. I love teaching and am very committed to my students. I studied music at university, and know from personal experience how important it is to have good support during school in order to be able to pursue music in further education. Good additional support during GCSEs and A Levels will make a world of difference to the student's musical development, and I love seeing my students progress in their music studies.

About the lesson

Milly specialises in tutoring students academic music, from GCSE, through A Level, up to university admissions, including Oxbridge admissions. Milly has an impressive and comprehensive knowledge of music history and theory, and is therefore able to provide a rounded and rigorous education. She knows the academic requirements very well and has had a lot of success with previous students. Milly teaches students from age 5 to adult learners, from beginner to advanced level, and also has experience teaching students with autism. Her lessons are typically one hour for students aged 11 upwards, and 30-45 minutes for those who are younger.
