About Matthew
I’m a Natural Scientist focusing on biology and chemistry at the University of Cambridge. I’ve been tutoring for the last two years at up to A level standard and my tutees all went on to achieve the grades they wanted and needed for university entrance. I also know a lot about the (Oxbridge) university admissions process and how to study for A-level exams - I attained 5A*s at A-level.

I tailor my sessions to the precise needs of every learner, which first requires finding out which topics and concepts need the most attention. Teaching exactly to the syllabus is very important in the run up to exams, and so I focus on giving insight into each specification point. However, if a learner shows mastery of the specification, it’s always a pleasure to go beyond to develop a deep understanding. I love teaching students genuinely interested in the subject.
