About Niña

Hi! I’m Niña, a dedicated and patient tutor who enjoys helping students understand lessons in a simple and easy-to-follow way. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Internal Auditing, which has helped me develop my skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and learning different subjects.

I was also previously a campus journalist and served as an Editor-in-Chief. This experience helped me develop my skills in writing, communication, proofreading, organization, and working with others. It also taught me to be responsible, attentive to details, and confident in sharing ideas.

As a tutor, I believe that being knowledgeable is important, but being patient and able to explain things clearly is just as important. I am willing to adjust my teaching style based on the student's level, learning pace, and needs. I take every lesson seriously and do my best to prepare so I can provide helpful and understandable explanations.

My goal is to help students improve their skills, understand their lessons better, and become more confident in their learning.

My Approach as a Tutor

My approach as a tutor is to be patient, friendly, and understanding. I believe that students learn better when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I also adjust my teaching style based on the student's level, learning pace, and needs.

Teaching Method and Techniques

I explain lessons in a simple and easy-to-understand way. I use examples, short exercises, and step-by-step explanations to help the student understand the topic. I also ask questions during the lesson to check their understanding before moving to the next topic.

Typical Lesson Plan

I usually start with a short review of the previous lesson. Then, I introduce the new topic and explain the important points using simple examples. After that, I give the student exercises or questions to practice. I guide them when they have difficulty and explain their mistakes in a kind and encouraging way. At the end of the lesson, we review the important things learned.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

I believe my patience and willingness to help are my strengths. I understand that students have different learning styles and may need more time to understand certain topics. I am willing to explain a lesson again in a different and simpler way until the student feels more comfortable with it. I also want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are mainly for elementary and high school students who need help with basic subjects, homework, reviewing lessons, and preparing for quizzes or exams. However, I am flexible and open to working with students from other levels depending on the subject and their learning needs. I am willing to adjust and prepare based on what the student needs help with.

My hourly rate is ₱800, which includes the tutoring session, lesson preparation, and learning activities based on the student's needs.

The rate is still negotiable depending on the student's needs, lesson requirements, and arrangement. I am flexible with the lesson content and can adjust each session according to the student's level, learning pace, and goals.
