About Stuart
I have spent a lot of time studying quantum physics academically, and in the past 3 years I have been working in a real company in the quantum industry. My roles, both academic and in industry have been very fulfilling and I have a deep passion for the subject (physics and quantum). I feel like I have a lot of knowledge and experience in which I can give back and help other students who are equally as passionate as I.

I offer informal chats/discussions about your course, typically an hour in length. I imagine it would begin with you sharing your course notes and asking me about difficult tutorial/homework problems that I can help with. I will then show you how to solve those problems, talk you through the concepts, and make it so that you can solve similar problems when it comes time for your exam. My thought process is that if I can hopefully explain these things in a different way than your teacher/lecturer perhaps it will help you understand things better, as everyone tends to learn in different ways.
The time is really yours to use however you want, we can solve problems together or you can come with trial solutions to problems and I can show you where you went right or wrong etc. As it gets close to your exams, I would suggest we go over past exam papers - as well as ensuring we cover the core concepts, I found it useful to try to pick up on similarities between exam papers to try narrow down what may appear in the real exam.
I have a PhD in theoretical Quantum Physics, so I've done a lot of technical physics exams in all subject areas so I have picked up many useful tips and tricks for studying. I have two years of hands-on tutoring experience where I explained mathematics for physicists to a large group of students, but I also 1on1 supervised multiple students on year-long academic research projects in quantum physics.
