About Roscoe
"Technical perfection matters less than the ability to express emotion through rhythm and timing. My 158 students discover that scales and arpeggios serve as the foundation for both jazz improvisation and classical repertoire.
Piano has always balanced my violin studies since I was 6. I emphasize posture and hand position to prevent fatigue while teaching complex chord voicing and pedaling technique. We incorporate music theory into pop and contemporary pieces to make the process enjoyable."
