About Joshua
"My credentials include a Master of Science in Statistics from Nanyang Technological University. I have taught 466 students over 13 years, focusing on opening repertoire building, recording, notation, king safety, calculation, visualization, opening principles, pawn structures, board vision, competitive mindset, and game analysis.
It is quite interesting how the logical patterns found in statistics mirror the tactical demands on the chessboard. I have always preferred a thoughtful, disciplined approach to the game over simple memorization. I enjoy watching my students grow their confidence as they navigate the board."
