About Charolina
A BFA in Music Performance provides the structural foundation for my approach to vocal coaching. Growing up in the Appalachian tradition means I understand the power of a voice that speaks directly to the listener.
My 13 years of experience include teaching singers of all ages how to master diction, pitch control, and resonance. I guide kids and returning learners through the nuances of genre styling for musical theater and classical pieces. My goal is to help you connect with your unique sound while building the confidence to perform under any conditions. We will work steadily toward your personal performance milestones.

Lessons are most effective when they feel like an informal pickin' party rather than a clinical environment. You might be surprised to find that we focus as much on the ease of your breath as we do on the technical precision of your belting technique. I share recorded warm-up routines for your daily home practice so you can keep growing between our meetings. We refine your vocal range extension and articulation to prepare you for your 15-minute festival slot.
My background in traditional music informs how I teach phrasing and natural tone. I make sure your exam preparation is thorough and your performance confidence is high. We move at a pace that honors your unique musical journey. I am here to help you sing with purpose.
