About Ishita
As a competitor in various competitions since I was in 1st grade, I have been able to use my knowledge to help students. 90% of my students come out with perfect scores in the subject I help them with. However, as a student myself, I am able to understand the questions and problems another student is facing better than an adult might. I have also achieved ranks such as 2-time AIME qualifier, and Berkeley Math Tournament honor roll achiever by 7th grade.

I never simply ask my students to memorize a concept or formula. I find it necessary that they understand the basics of the concept before advancing. I usually start with the basics in order to ensure that the student understands the root of the topic. I then continue to teach the lesson step- by- step while also asking questions along the way to ensure the student understands. As a tutor elementary and middle school students I have been able to raise their grades from low 70-80 up to the 90-100 range. I work best with elementary and middle school level.
