About Yas
Hi there! My name is Yas, and I’m a tutor based in Vancouver. I offer both online and in-person sessions for Math, English, Science, and Art. I mainly work with students in grades 1–8, though I teach Art to all ages! I’m passionate about helping students find their "niche" and giving them the confidence to tackle any challenge. I truly believe that with the right support, students can achieve anything they set their minds to.

I have 2 years experience tutoring students, especially those with special needs. My methodology is very specific to the student's needs as not every student studies, and understands the same material the same way. Our first session is free to see how your child likes my teaching style and if we would work well together. During this time I would learn a little about my student and their knowledge about different topics. The student is able to reach out to me anytime other than our regular session time for in-person tutoring, as well as online help. I am able to teach grades 1-9, and would prefer to have classes online, or at community centers.
