About Ashley
"Singing starts with a deep breath and a relaxed jaw. Vocal health is the most critical factor for any singer. We work on head and chest voice, along with belting technique and microphone skills.
Since I have my Diploma of Music, I can explain the mechanics behind harmony singing and sight singing. I build a personalized song list around each student's range to keep things engaging for adults and intermediate learners.
Absolute beginners usually appreciate how I simplify these complex concepts. It is quite fun to watch someone finally hit the note they were chasing. I truly enjoy the process of watching a voice develop over time."

"Born in San Juan, I grew up surrounded by the sounds of Spanish singing. I admit, singing in a second language felt unnatural at first, but it became my primary way of connecting with others. My teaching approach is built on 13 years of professional work in the industry. I have had the privilege of working with 356 students across various skill levels.
You might find my cross-cultural perspective helpful when we look at rhythm and phrasing. It is quite interesting how vocal habits change based on the language you speak. It just happens that way sometimes."
