I provide recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice to ensure you retain every technical nuance. This strategy helps you internalize the necessary muscle memory for smooth shifting. Performing across Quebec for 13 years naturally led me toward pedagogical work. Music remains a constant presence in my life. Holding a MMus provides a solid foundation for teaching complex techniques like spiccato and staccato bowing.
My 13 years of experience allow me to identify precise posture and hold issues instantly. I often find that hobbyists appreciate the technical rigour of my approach.
Self taught players often struggle with shifting positions or proper vibrato, which I address through scales and arpeggios. Intonation requires patience, and I cultivate that calm environment for every pupil. 219 students have shared this musical path with me so far.
I enjoy watching students refine their tone production over time. My teaching style remains flexible and supportive for all performance focused students.
