About Rowena
"Teaching piano demands deep technical knowledge and a clear sense of musical direction. I have spent 13 years refining my craft to help 221 students understand the nuances of scales and arpeggios as well as complex sight transposition.
My MMus Vocal Studies degree from the Royal Academy of Music informs how I approach rhythm and phrasing across every keyboard piece I teach. My instruction covers accompaniment skills and grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards while also leaving room for creative jazz improvisation. I bring a precise and energetic method to the bench that turns every challenge into a clear, manageable goal. Your musical growth is in capable hands."
