About Rosa
Teaching exists because I enjoy translating complex musical ideas into physical actions. My sessions cover rhythm and timing, scales and arpeggios, and tuning by ear.
I also work on vibrato, shifting positions, music theory, and ear training. Advanced students often request my help with spiccato and staccato bowing or classical repertoire. Having worked with 448 students, I find that structured practice yields the best results. Please reach out if you would like to begin.

Honestly, the hardest part of violin playing is maintaining consistent form while learning new pieces. I prioritize steady pacing to ensure you master each movement before moving forward. My Master of Music degree from Berklee allows me to break down difficult sections into manageable pieces. I provide a recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice so you never feel lost.
We focus on proper mechanics to improve your tone and fluidity. These techniques serve as the foundation for your musical journey. Results speak for themselves.
