About Marissa
Teaching 79 students has taught me that language acquisition is rarely a linear path, often feeling more like a series of small, frustrating hurdles. I focus on conversational fluency and pronunciation, helping you navigate the complexities of accent and intonation through consistent practice and vocabulary building. My professional life is balanced between performing music and helping others master French through structured listening practice and interview preparation. I find it deeply satisfying to see a beginner transition from fumbling through everyday phrases to constructing complex, accurate sentences with confidence.
