About Shasta
Numbers have always been the primary language of my professional life. A BBA Finance degree from The Wharton School provides the foundation for all my instructional work.
I translate complex data into actionable insights for university students and career switchers. Precision matters.
My expertise includes payroll accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and the core principles of double-entry bookkeeping. I regularly instruct on managerial accounting, cost accounting, and the nuances of accrual versus cash basis reporting. I find great satisfaction in helping others grasp closing entries. This continues to be my main area of focus.

Students reach a high level of workplace confidence by engaging with real world financial scenarios. I have successfully taught 296 individuals the fundamental principles of finance. My instructional framework is built on practical application and accuracy. Each sessions features a practical mini project to complete after every class.
These projects reinforce payroll accounting and accounts payable and receivable skills. We move through double-entry bookkeeping and managerial accounting with a focus on speed and accuracy.
I emphasize cost accounting and the transition from accrual to cash basis systems. We conclude by reviewing closing entries to ensure your books are perfectly balanced. My commitment is to your long-term success.
