About Dwayne
Graduating with a BFA in Music Theatre from Point Park University prepared me to refine vocal craft across 13 years of coaching. Do you feel your current technique holds you back from truly expressing yourself? I currently run a studio in Washington DC where I guide singers aged 9 to 58.
My students regularly book national tours and secure places in competitive BFA drama programs. Techniques for vocal range extension and performance confidence remain central to my practice.
I address head and chest voice, genre styling, and microphone technique with clarity. Managing stage fear and mastering breath control defines my pedagogical style. My studio provides the tools you need for success in auditions and open mic residencies.

Air flows through the ribs like a tide rising against a shoreline before sound even occurs. Focus centers on appoggio as the physiological foundation for all phonation.
Exercises target your specific breathing control requirements while we explore range and styling. Musical theatre and pop techniques emerge naturally from this physical grounding.
Advanced microphone work and stage fear management integrate into our technical exploration. You gain access to 8.0 pages of my private breathing and warm-up exercise notes. Calm observation guides our work as we build your capacity to perform with absolute precision.
