About Shahana
Hi! I'm a medical student at Western University who scored 520 on the MCAT, including a 131 in CARS. Coming from a non-traditional background, I had to teach myself much of the science content, so I understand firsthand how overwhelming MCAT preparation can feel and what it takes to master unfamiliar material.
My experience has taught me that success on the MCAT isn't just about memorization, it's about understanding concepts, using effective study strategies, and learning how to think like the test. I tailor my tutoring to each student's goals, whether you're building a strong foundation, improving a specific section, or aiming for a competitive score.
Beyond content review, I'm passionate about helping students gain confidence and develop efficient study habits that will benefit them throughout medical school and beyond. My goal is to make the MCAT feel manageable and help you reach your full potential.

I believe the key to MCAT success is mastering high-yield concepts while developing effective test-taking strategies. My lessons are tailored to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and target score, with a focus on building confidence and improving efficiency.

I also help students create realistic study schedules, identify high-yield topics, and learn how to approach MCAT-style questions effectively.
As a medical student with a nursing background, I understand the demands of preparing for the MCAT and the study strategies that lead to success. My goal is to provide a supportive, structured learning environment where students gain both the knowledge and confidence needed to perform their best on test day.
