About Candice
Hi! I'm Candice, I'm 21, I'm French and I have been living for 5 years on the Sunshine Coast. I moved to Brisbane for University. Here is a short presentation: I love sport climbing (I competed as part of the QLD team for two years), skiing (I competed for 10 years), baking, reading and learning new things as well as teaching others. In Yr12, I studied Physics, Biology, Geography, English, Maths Methods and Specialists and I graduated French in year 11 with a raw score of 97. Overall I got A's in all subjects and an ATAR of 98.65. My favourite subjects were Geography, Physics, Maths Methods and Specialists. My goal is to be a researcher in structural geology or geophysics (all the earthquakes and earth movements!!!). In order to achieve that I'm currently studying at UQ a bachelor of sciences, majoring in Earth Sciences and Geographical Sciences.

I like teaching my students efficient ways of studying by helping them with their work, doing practice exercises, and revising / learning using useful mnemotechnics in order to be more confident and obtain better results in exams. I can read over assignments in maths, sciences, and languages. Concerning the latter, I can do conversional tutoring, or help you with the grammar, syntax or writing in general. I can also help you with your homework or the topics you did not understand. I adapt to the way of learning of my students to simplify their understanding.
I have experience in working with neurodivergent (children with ASD or ADHD) and dys/ students.
