Feedback is my favorite part about working with students because it really does create intimate connections with the student in relation to whatever topic I am teaching at that time. G
iving feedback is also crucial for university because it ensures that students understand where they have positioned themselves in the course, in the discipline, and in academia itself.
I have a bachelor's in Spanish, a master's in TESOL, and I am currently pursuing another master's in writing and rhetoric at UCF. I am a fluent English and Spanish speaker, with hopes to learn many more languages. I love languages and teaching, and I want others to know the benefits of effective communication in another language or in their own first language! There is perhaps no educational tool more liberating than writing and other communicative forms of literacy, given that they shape and are shaped by every person’s lived experiences in modern society.
