About Harleen
I am a Computer Science student at Carleton University specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a strong academic background in mathematics and problem solving. My teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts simple, clear, and easy to understand. As a Computer Science student specializing in AI and Machine Learning, I break down topics step-by-step and adapt my explanations based on each student’s learning style and pace. I prioritize building strong fundamentals and helping students gain confidence in problem solving.
For math, I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorization. I guide students through problems step-by-step, explain the reasoning behind each step, and provide practice questions to reinforce learning. I also help with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
For coding and computer science (Python, basic programming, and algorithms), I emphasize hands-on learning. A typical lesson includes:
