About Lavina

Vocal health, range extension, and resonance are my daily focus. I am a technician. My background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

I have worked with singers for 12 years across 4 different productions. My teaching style relies on clear, simple logic.

About the lesson

Since the work moves quickly in rehearsal, I build each session around your specific goals for rhythm, phrasing, and harmony. Because I spent years performing before I began teaching, I provide recorded warm-up routines that allow you to continue the technical work at home between our scheduled meetings. These audio resources ensure you maintain proper vocal care while practicing your chest voice transitions independently.

I enjoy seeing the moment when the physical mechanics of singing suddenly click for a performer during our time together.
