About the lesson

I am a student oriented in STEM field. I have finished 5 on AP Calculus BC and taken Matrices & Linear Transformation and Multidimensional Calculus at Carnegie Mellon University.

I usually tutor middle and high school levels. I always encourage students to know how or why things work, rather than simply memorizing formulas and ideas. I incorporate visuals and activities in my lessons to make them more interactive for students. My principle is, if you try hard and can finish my quizzes without mistake, then you are more than prepared for school.

About Yijia

I have been giving lessons for 1 year, and tutored more than 5 students one-on-one. One of my students, Malik, suffered from his math and science grades at school. I always have to be patient with him and, help him do science experiments. Now he has taken off to be an excellent student at math.
