About Mark
My own art education consists of a B.A. in fine arts from Princeton University, an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art, a career as an exhibiting fine artist, a cartoonist at the New York Post, and graphic novelist.

I teach traditional figure structure as the basis for doing comic art. Students follow my lessons as I do them on a whiteboard or table. I critique the student's work as we go. I've been successful with grades 3-4 up through young adults.
