About Adebisi
Welcome! My name is Adebisi, and I am a quantitative educator and STEM mentor focused on delivering clear, measurable academic growth.
When you work with me, you are partnering with an instructor who combines academic rigors with real-world technical experience. I hold a Master of Science in Data Science and AI from the University of San Francisco (Dean’s Scholarship recipient) and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from UC Riverside. Additionally, I have passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) and hold state substitute teaching permit eligibility, ensuring my teaching methods align with recognized state standards.
My background includes over 100 hours of K–12 tutoring, technical communication, and youth mentorship. I focus on breaking down complex, intimidating quantitative topics into clear, logical steps. Whether preparing students for AP exams or teaching foundational coding, I maintain high professional standards, regular parent updates, and a structured, supportive learning environment.
Building strong technical skills requires a solid foundation. I approach every lesson with the structure and consistency needed to foster genuine understanding, long-term mastery, and academic independence.

Building the Next Generation of Tech Leaders: Advanced Math & Coding Mastery
My name is Adebisi, and my mission is simple: to transform students into confident, future-ready "tech geniuses" by equipping them with the exact mathematical foundation and coding tools used by top industry professionals. Whether your child is navigating middle school arithmetic, mastering AP Calculus, or writing their first Python scripts, I build customized learning pathways that make complex quantitative subjects accessible, engaging, and directly applicable to real-world tech.
TEACHING METHODS & TECHNIQUES
• Project-Based Application: Abstract math topics are paired with real-world computer science and data applications so students instantly see why the math matters.
• Differentiated Instruction: I adapt my technical delivery to match every student's specific learning style and pace, building genuine confidence rather than relying on memorization.
• Executive Functioning & Logic: Beyond solving equations, I teach structured problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and effective study habits that carry over into all academic disciplines.
TYPICAL LESSON PLAN
• Warm-Up & Mindset (10 mins): Review previous concepts or address immediate school homework questions to solidify foundations.
• Core Skill Development (25 mins): Interactive breakdown of new material—from algebraic mechanics to Python data structures—using visual whiteboards and active coding exercises.
• Guided Hands-On Practice (20 mins): The student leads problem-solving while I guide their logic, isolate edge cases, and refine their debugging technique.
• Actionable Wrap-Up (5 mins): Key takeaways summary and targeted practice goals for the week ahead.
WHAT SETS ME APART
• Advanced Dual Technical Background: I hold a Master’s degree in Data Science and AI from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UC Riverside, bringing high-level academic expertise directly to K–12 instruction.
• Credentialed Teaching Standards: I hold passed CBEST credentials and state permit eligibility, combining deep technical knowledge with formal educational standards.
• End-to-End STEM Pipeline: I don't just help students pass a test; I mentor them through a comprehensive STEM journey that takes them from basic logic to real-world coding and data science proficiency.
WHO THE LESSONS ARE FOR
• Middle & High School Students (Grades 6–12): Looking to excel in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, and introductory Computer Science/Python.
• Aspiring Tech Innovators: Students who want to get ahead of the curve, build impressive technical portfolios early, and prepare for competitive university STEM programs.
