  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

It depends on the discipline in which you are planning to do your practices. It may vary.
I can only share what I feel might have been a "suitable" rather than the "best" answer I gave to this question in an interview for a position in academia.

How I developed my subject interest and why was it important?

This is in the practice area of service management, and how it evolved from my academic studies, at the same time I was working on my projects. In the study, I found it particularly interesting in the subject of service management in the course, as I saw how it was not just about learning theories, but how I saw the relevance of this in my development practice.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

The best teacher I ever had was my history teacher in high school. I preferred English and science to history, but she was able to see past the dates and facts and make the subject come to life beyond the basic curriculum. For instance, we looked through old newspaper articles about historical events and then wrote our own blogs as if we were journalists living during that time. I was inspired by her unconventional techniques, and I strive to bring the same passion for innovative ways to learn in my classroom.
The assistant principal of my high school was a real inspiration to me, and she is one of the major reasons I pursued a teaching career. Her ability to guide students, her fairness, and her sense of justice made me aspire to bring these things to my own classroom.
  • How does your work help society?

By using my teaching skills I can aware of the new generation of our society and will make them more conscious about new technologies as I belong to a technical background.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

To me, a role model is someone who inspires me to do something or to develop further myself. I do not have one person as a role model, an expert for my parents. I have many people who inspired me and still continue to do so. I would say that the role models are found everywhere... a friend that is facing many challenges to move forward, a colleague that despite everything is still being successful, an old person that does not stop learning new things and new technologies.... we can find role models everywhere, we just need to see and get the best out of them.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside teaching, I love to explore new technologies by developing new projects. Every time I get some free time apart from teaching, I sit to develop new things.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

I used to belong to a non-technical background when I entered college. I had biology in my 11th & 12th and I was all set to pursue my graduation in 2017 in the field of Computer Science and Engineering but I even did not know that there even exist some computer languages although I had my first computer when I was at my class 8. I introduced to C as the very first computer language when I was in my 2nd semester and even after completing the entire course of Java in my 5th semester I didn't know how to apply all the pieces of knowledge in the industrial field even how to build a simple project, I didn't know. But today in my GitHub if you see there all the plant of projects are presents there which I have made on my own in the last 8 months.
So the reason behind saying all these things is that "When you wake up, then morning".
