About Beck
Hi, I'm Beck (they/he). I look forward to working with you!
I'm currently a special ed paraprofessional at an elementary school in Denver, CO on summer break. My favorite subject to teach is math and I have experience working with ECE - college students.
I also have 3 years under my belt as a mycologist, or fungus researcher, at CU Boulder, so I do know advanced math, but I prefer to teach any level up to/through geometry at this point.

As a former disabled student myself, I understand how sometimes you need a concept delivered in 20 different ways before you find one that clicks.
I teach math from ECE-Geometry to students with mild to severe needs as well as students without accomadations.
I can cater lessons to your individual needs and work with you to understand and feel confident about the work being asked of you, whether that's catching up on one more advanced concept or getting a better grasp on fundamentals.
Math can be hard, but we do hard things all the time!
