In person, out together with cameras for lesson one. All sorts of tips revealed that I learned by working with 'moving targets' (people), so much different from landscape. I drop our film off at a lab, and on lesson two we compare, which is a real learning curve. Also we discuss lenses for types of work you want to do.
As for weddings, there is A LOT to learn. I CRINGE when young digi shooters display their work in hopes of getting bookings, most of it is so terrible why would a smart bride even consider?
