About Beatriz
Cellist for the last year of his degree at the Escola Superior de Música Arts do Porto, he began his musical studies at Arteduca in Vila Nova de Famalicão and at the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory in Braga. He had masterclass with professors Marco Pereira, Pavel Gomziakov, Henry David Vattema, Matias de Oliveira Pinto, Matts Lidström, Jakob Spahn, Denis Severin, Paulo Gaio Lima, Jeroen den Herder, Filipe Quaresma, Jed Baraha, among others. He had the opportunity to integrate several orchestras, such as Sinfonietta de Braga, Minho University Orchestra, Minho University Academic Orchestra, Sub 21 European Orchestra, among others. In the pedagogical field, she underwent courses of instrumental improvement with Maria de Macedo and David Cruz. He has taught at the DaMusArtes music school in Maia, 2016/2017 and at the Casa da Música in VN de Famalicão.

My method is to discover the strengths and weaknesses of the students and to use them in a constructive, motivating and positive way! I give preference to the exemplification of the technical problems and their explicit differentiation, and also to the musical personification for a more concrete approach of the musical expression.
