About Josh
I love biology! It has been fascinating to me for as long as I can remember and this passion has been crucial in helping me choose to pursue a degree in cellular biology. Outside of tutoring I am pursuing an honors thesis project and developmental biology and I am so excited to see where that research takes me!
Outside of school and tutoring, I love to spend time outdoors, play sports, and volunteer with youth organizations. I love to find time to connect with, and learn from others, which makes me incredibly excited to work with you!

I want to help you feel confident in your understanding of biological topics so that you can succeed in your academic and professional goals.
A typical lesson plan includes:
-Setting goals for our session
-Focusing on developing big picture understanding before diving into the small details.
-Addressing complicated topics through discussion and practice
-Following up on our goals and setting an actionable plan to help you succeed outside of tutoring too!
My hope is to give you the most personalized tutoring experience for you. I will not hand out cookie-cutter lessons, everything will be catered to your needs and will focus on turning weaknesses into strengths.
These lessons are designed for those at the high school level. They are catered to biology but I am also open to helping in chemistry and physics related tutoring as well.
