About Melanie

I am a CELTA-certified ESL instructor with a master’s degree and 14 years of teaching experience. Since 2012, I have taught English learners at every level, from beginner through advanced, in the United States and in Spain.

I specialize in helping adult learners improve their conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, and writing. My experience includes classroom teaching and individualized instruction with students from a wide variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

I understand that adult learners need practical, respectful instruction that makes good use of their time. My goal is to help each student communicate more naturally, accurately, and confidently in the situations that matter most to them.

I adapt the content, pace, and materials to your level, interests, and reasons for learning English.
