About J
I've taught for 12 years. I originally wanted to be a high school mathbteacher so I took classes up to Calculus II in college, but I fell in love with the elementary students when I took a part time job at a local school. I got a reputation at my school for being good at helping middle schoolers and high schoolers with math, so I started tutoring other teachers' kids. I have the patience that comes with teaching the basics to elementary with the skill set and knowledge to teach the harder math, tied in with the experience to break it down into easy to understand parts.
