About Charollen
I earned my Certificate in Traditional Music from the Old Town School of Folk Music. Since then, I have taught 147 students how to find their true sound. Oral tradition drives my process.
We learn tunes by listening and ornamentation by imitating the greats. Performance-focused teens and adults come to me when they want to shine under the lights. My teaching style is friendly and rooted in years of storytelling. I trust my ears.

Stage fear usually happens because the body forgets to breathe, so we reset that tension first. Whether you are working on genre styling for musical theatre or need help with diction and articulation, I guide you through the phrasing.
My 13 years of experience help us fix rhythm issues and sharpen your sight singing skills. You will belt with confidence once your technique matches your intent. Pop and classical students find great results in this environment. Keep singing.
