About Lori
I am a 500-hour certified Kripalu Yoga instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience and have taken dozens of trainings with world renowned teachers including Rodney Yee, Shiva Rae, and Amy Weintraub, founder of LifeForce Yoga for Anxiety & Depression. Following a year-long immersion into yoga as a Seva (selfless service) volunteer, I taught guest yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Heath in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts from 2005 to 2013 and taught for the City of Boulder from 2009 through March 2020. In 2017 I journeyed to the birthplace of Swami Kripalu in India to deepen my understanding of the Kripalu lineage—the Yoga of Compassion, also known as Meditation-in-Motion. I am also a licensed massage therapist and a licensed physical therapist with a private practice in South Boulder.

I individualize each class to meet the needs of the students. As a yoga teacher, massage and physical therapist, and Reiki Master, I bring a wealth of knowledge of the mind/body/spirit to each session. Kripalu Yoga is known as the Yoga of Compassion or Meditation-in-motion. My approach includes tools you can use both "on and off the mat" to improve your health and well being on all levels.
