About Simon

I’m a certified Adobe trainer, working video editor, and university lecturer with over 16 years in the creative industry. Originally from London and now based in Scotland, I’ve taught at leading universities such as UAL and UCA, and deliver training for some of the UK’s top creative software providers—both nationally and internationally. My clients include independent creatives, in-house marketing teams, and organisations like the BBC. Whether you're completely new to Premiere Pro or looking to take your editing skills to a professional level, I’ll help you get there in a friendly, focused, and flexible way. Every session is designed to build your confidence, sharpen your skills, and give you the tools you need to edit with purpose and creativity.

About the lesson

My Premiere Pro lessons are built around real-world video editing workflows—ideal for content creators, filmmakers, marketers, and students at any level. Each session is typically one hour and can cover everything from basic editing and timeline navigation to advanced techniques like colour grading, masking, multicam editing, green screen work, and audio enhancement. My approach is practical, clear, and creative. Whether you're working on YouTube videos, brand content, short films, or corporate promos, I’ll guide you step-by-step with professional insight and tips that save time and improve your editing game. Lessons are fun, relaxed, but always focused and results-driven. I’m a certified Adobe trainer with over 16 years of experience, and I currently train individuals, creative teams, and major organisations—including the BBC.
