About Moses

I am a professional American Sign Language (ASL) tutor and interpreter with over 6 years of hands-on experience in teaching, interpreting, and facilitating communication between Deaf and hearing individuals in both educational and professional settings. I hold a certification in Teaching American Sign Language from the Clerc Center, Gallaudet University, Washington D.C., USA, one of the most recognized institutions globally in Deaf education and American Sign Language studies. This training has equipped me with strong pedagogical skills in American Sign Language instruction, Deaf culture, and effective communication strategies for diverse learners. In addition to my American Sign Language (ASL) expertise, I am also a certified English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) teacher, which strengthens my ability to teach language in a structured, simplified, and learner-friendly way. This combination allows me to support learners not only in mastering signs but also in understanding how to communicate meaningfully and confidently across language barriers. Over the years, I have worked with beginners, students, educators, caregivers, and professionals, helping them develop practical American Sign Language (ASL) skills that go beyond memorization into real-life communication. My teaching approach is highly interactive, patient, and structured, with a strong emphasis on clarity, expression, and cultural understanding. About the lesson

If you’ve ever wanted to communicate with someone in the Deaf community but didn’t know where to start, then this lesson is for you. I will personally guide you step by step in learning American Sign Language (ASL) in a simple, practical, and easy-to-understand way. We start from the very basics; the alphabets of the American Sign Language (ASL), numbers in the American Sign Language (ASL), greetings in the American Sign Language (ASL), and everyday expressions and gradually move into real conversations and practical signing in American Sign Language (ASL) you can actually use in real life. I don’t just teach you to memorize signs; I help you understand how to use them naturally with the right hand movements, facial expressions, and body language. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has tried American Sign Language (ASL) before but struggled, I will meet you at your level and guide you at a comfortable pace until you build confidence. This lesson is perfect for teachers, students, parents, caregivers, healthcare workers, or anyone who simply wants to connect better with the Deaf community and promote inclusion. By the end of our lessons, you won’t just know the American Sign Language, you’ll be able to communicate, understand, and confidently interact with American Sign Language in real situations.
