About Chris
I've been teaching in Virginia for 22 years and have experience in elementary, middle, and high school. I am a husband, father of a 6th and 9th grader, and a big sports fan (including when my kids are playing!). In addition to teaching for 20+ years, I have experience writing curriculum and assessments so I have a keen understanding of how to help students find success on assessments and understand math more deeply. I enjoy helping students "turn the light bulb on" when it comes to complicated concepts and figure out what skills will need repeated practice to go into long-term memory. I've worked with thousands of middle and high school math students, so I can also identify foundational skill gaps that are still slowing them down as they get ready for higher levels of math.
