About Nkenge
An educator, founder, and former co-chair. I have 10+ years of experience in varying education experiences, currently a high school English teacher, founder of Accountability Counts, 22’ DPSCD Outstanding Educator awardee, 22’ National Council of Teachers of English Early Educator of Color Leadership awardee, and a proud native of Detroit, MI! Receiving both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Michigan State University, I have shown my dedication to education through my progressive efforts locally, regionally, and nationally as I have created curriculum and instructional practices to improve classroom environments.
