My internship teaching chemistry was a rewarding experience that involved adopting various teaching practices and delivering independent lessons to grade 9, 11, and 12 students. I was able to incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies in my lessons to ensure students’ engagement and understanding of the scientific concepts. I also provided one-on-one assistance to those students who needed extra help outside of class hours. I encourage students to practice challenging questions and teach them skills to solve them by following a step-by-step process with reflection. My priority will always be to assist in the best manner possible and look into solutions that will be most effective on the student’s application to learn.
