About Dr Joshua
Hello! I’m Dr. Joshua, a passionate Cambridge and OSSD certified Biology teacher with over nine years of teaching experience. I enjoy helping students understand how life works through clear explanations and real-life examples. I hold a PhD in Zoology and love mentoring students, reading scientific literature, and making Biology interesting and easy to learn.
My lessons focus on IGCSE, AS/A Level, and OSSD Biology, using interactive teaching, diagrams, and exam-focused strategies to help students build strong understanding and confidence.

My teaching methods are student-centered, I use diagrams and real life examples to breakdown complex biological concept that encourages interactive discussions.
I use guided questions, visual aids, and practice questions to strengthen understanding to prepare students effectively.
my lesson plan reviews previous topics, then introduce the new topic with clear explanations and visuals. followed by guided practice, problem-solving, and a short assessment. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace.
