About Zisong
Hello, I'm Alex. I hold an International Chinese Language Teacher Certificate (CTCSOL) and a Level 2A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. I graduated from a British university with a Master's degree. During my studies in the UK, I frequently helped my European and American classmates learn Chinese, and my engaging and easy-to-understand teaching style was well-received. My classmates said my lessons were lively and interesting and suggested that I help more foreigners learn Chinese, so here I am! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, playing basketball, and playing guitar. If you share these hobbies, we'll definitely have a lot in common!

I have 12 years of training experience, including 7 years of Chinese teaching. Lessons cover four major modules: Chinese Pinyin, daily conversation, workplace communication and HSK Levels 1–6. Instruction can be delivered in Mandarin, English and Cantonese, and class learning is divided into three segments:
Part One: Pinyin and Chinese Characters
In-class teaching aids are used for explanation, suitable for new learners to start their study. A solid foundation will make follow-up learning easier. Pronunciation drills are combined with character learning. I will provide gradual and detailed guidance to help learners standardize their pronunciation.
Part Two: Vocabulary and Sentences
We start with high-frequency words, then form sentences with basic collocations to master standard sentence structures and usage. Learners will find Chinese grammar easy to understand and pick up quickly.
Part Three: Conversations and Short Texts
We learn practical vocabulary, do in-class oral interaction exercises and analyze short readings. In-class role-plays covering daily and work scenarios help learners improve speaking and reading skills while expanding vocabulary steadily.
The whole curriculum is logically organized, and all learning arrangements are tailored to your study needs. Classes are relaxing and enjoyable. I always encourage you to speak up boldly without worrying about mistakes, so you can achieve your Chinese learning goals step by step.
