Hello, I'm Thomas, an experienced Computer Science and Information Technology educator with a passion for helping students unlock their full potential in technology and computing.
Over the years, I have taught students across a range of academic levels, including GCSE, A-Level, International Foundation Year (IFY), and undergraduate programmes. My experience has enabled me to develop effective teaching strategies that simplify complex concepts and help students gain both academic success and practical skills.

My name is Thomas, and I am a passionate Computer Science and Information Technology teacher dedicated to helping students build confidence, achieve academic success, and develop practical technology skills for the future.
My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and highly practical. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match the student's learning style, pace, and academic goals. Rather than focusing solely on theory, I use real-world examples, hands-on coding exercises, problem-solving activities, and guided projects to ensure students fully understand concepts and can apply them independently.
I teach a wide range of Computer Science and IT topics, including Python programming, JavaScript, web development, databases, algorithms, networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, and examination preparation. Complex topics are broken down into simple, manageable steps, making learning enjoyable and effective.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. Each session includes a review of previous concepts, guided instruction, practical exercises, and opportunities for questions and discussion. Students also receive additional practice tasks and feedback to reinforce learning outside the classroom.
I have several years of experience teaching Computer Science and IT to students at GCSE, A-Level, International Foundation Year (IFY), and undergraduate levels.
