About Naman

I am a engineering student who is currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering. I have successfully cleared Infytq (Programming Certification by Infosys), have completed courses on 2 Deep Neural Networks on Coursera provided by deeplearning.ai and currently working on Diabetic Retinopathy Prognosis by using Convolutional Neural Networks. I am also training students of Gujarat Forensic Sciences University in the Deep Learning domain.

About the lesson

I start teaching by introduction of the topic. Make the students realize what is the importance of the topic and how it will be useful for them. Also tell the students how the topic came into existence and what technology was used previously. After the introduction I try to break the fundamentals into its simplest of forms. Once the understanding is firm enough, I start adding levels of complexity incrementally until the understanding of the topic is mature enough to be implemented. Then I present a problem, guide the students to come up with a solution for that problem from what they have learned. This gives the students confidence and establishes a deeper connection of the topic with the students. In this stage after the students learn how to implement the knowledge, I provide them with a few tricks of the trade to make the task easier. Once a student has all-around understanding of the concept, I give them assignments to try out on their own. While reviewing the assignment, i always show how to solve it giving student the chance to find out their short-comings. In this way I commit to the process of learning and make it addictive to the students by making them feel powerful, after they learn a topic.
