About Rachel
I am a certified teacher with teaching experience in both Chicago and Atlanta. I have taught ESL, 4th grade, and 1st grade. Although I left the classroom in June, I still have a lifelong love for learning and teaching, and believe that any student can learn with the right tools. I will work with their individual needs, strengths, and interests to ensure they achieve all their goals!

I love math and reading equally, but I especially enjoy teaching phonics, which makes me a great fit for younger learners and struggling readers. I use physical manipulatives, movement, songs, and chants, and incorporate creativity into my lessons. I also hold my students to high standards and believe in their ability to achieve, so I push them to always do their absolute best and prove to themselves what they are capable of.
