About Natalie
I am a mother and wife in a blended family. I have an 11 year old step son and an 11 year old biological son, but you'd never guess they weren't real brothers! They are best friends and I love that. We enjoy spending time together as a family including bike riding, nature trails, and going on adventures.
I've worked many jobs, but teaching is my passion. I absolutely love what I do helping students connect the dots and make connections in learning.

My method of teaching a typical lesson includes clear direct instruction of what we are learning and how it relates to our academic career. I usually include an anchor chart or interactive notes, then begin by modeling the skill. Students then take a turn with the new skill as I review and check as they work to clarify or correct any errors. I like to show my students any "short cuts" that I know and often teach with movement or word association to help students remember important details of a particular subject .
