About Erika
Hello, I am a certified teacher through the state of RI. I have taught grades 1,3,4,6,7, and 8. I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Merrimack College.
I am a teacher by nature! I love helping children and adults learn and master a content area. I have great deal of patience and try to distinctly break down my teaching so that the lesson sticks and can be built upon.
I also own and operate my own Irish Dance School - Tir Na Nog Irish Dance, located in Cumberland, RI.
I have worked with children in a variety of ways from nannying, to academics, to learning dance for over 15 years.
Teaching and inspiring youth is at the core of my being.

Hello, I am a certified teacher through the state of RI. I have taught grades 1,3,4,6,7, and 8. I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Merrimack College.
Phonics, Spelling, and Reading are my favorite subject areas to teach! I also enjoy teaching math to grades 1-3, and helping older students in basic Spanish, writing papers, acing science fair projects or any other school project, and bringing literature to life!
Teaching grammar skills, how to write a paper, how to interpret a story/reading passage and make a cohesive response, are some of my fortes for tutoring older students in grades 5-12.
I have great computer skills and can help students master Google Suite and feel comfortable navigating different programs on the computer.
I am a teacher by nature! I love helping children and adults learn and master a content area. I have great deal of patience and try to distinctly break down my teaching so that the lesson sticks and can be built upon!
