About Leila
I'm Leila, a CEFR C2 / TOEIC-certified English instructor with a near-native mastery of the language—but my true passion is bringing that precision to young learners. I believe that professionalism means more than just qualifications; it means showing up with patience, warmth, and a genuine love for each child's unique journey. I believe kids learn best when they forget they're even studying. My approach is play-based immersion – I weave English into every game, song, craft, and silly story we create together. While I hold a CEFR C2 / TOEIC mastery level (meaning I have elite, near-native accuracy), I never let grammar drills bore my students. Instead, I use Total Physical Response (TPR) – we act out verbs, jump for adjectives, and draw our vocabulary. Every mistake is met with a high-five for trying, because confidence comes before perfection. I adjust my speed, vocabulary, and activities to each child's unique mood and energy level that day – because no two kids learn the same way.
