I am a Certified High School Teacher and I have more than 10 years of undivided experience in teaching advanced Math, Physics, and Chemistry. As a Certified High School Teacher (TITUS), I focus on mastering concepts and preparing to pass tests. I also teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry to the high-achievers-that is, students who are about to take AP, IB and also competitive university entry exams.
My Method and Techniques
Lessons are based on my own 3-step problem-solving model: 1) Concept Dissection, 2) Strategic Application, and 3) Error Pattern Correction. I use interactive whiteboard software and real-life illustrations to break down complicated theories, so that instead of memorizing, they can grasp the concepts through intuition.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A 60-minute session includes:
Review (10 min): Rapid revision of prior homework/concepts.
New Concept and Theory (20 min): Supportive teaching in the form of Q&A.
Targeted Problem-Solving (25 min): The application of the concept based on past paper questions or particular exam-style questions.
Homework (5 min): Individualized homework to consolidate the lesson of the day.
What Sets Me Apart
