About Priya

Hi.. My name is Priya and I am basically from India. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am a native Hindi speaker. I studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya for 12 years. I am right now residing in Canada. I am well-versed in speaking both Hindi and English languages. I am also a TEFL certified professional from Uni-prep Institute Canada. About the lesson

Hi. My name is Priya. I specialize in teaching young kids and adults of beginner level who are completely new to Hindi. My lessons are more fun and interactive, to make sure the students stay engaged during the class. I customize my learning material based on your needs and requirements. I am a conversational tutor who interacts with students a lot and identifies their strengths and weaknesses and prepares lesson plans based on that. My lessons are individually-tailored and student-centered. My teaching approach includes adherence to grammar, pronunciation, accent reduction, and other aspects of language. I also encourage students to speak in the target language during class and also provide them with all the learning resources which include YouTube videos, PDF files, audio clips, video clips, worksheets, and abundant exercises for practice. My teaching involves explanation using pictures which helps in better understanding. I can help you in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in Hindi in a very easy and effective way. I customize the learning material based on your needs and requirements. I can teach Hindi easily to non-native Hindi speakers and people living outside India with my good Hindi-English translation skills.
