About Marilyn
Hello! My name is Marilyn, and I am a certified international teacher of Chinese. I hold a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the School of Management at Tianjin University in China and possess extensive teaching experience and a wealth of life experience. I am also a seasoned corporate executive; prior to retiring, I served as the Chairperson and General Manager of a Sino-foreign joint venture and as a senior executive at a US-based high-tech company. Consequently, I am highly proficient in business Chinese and skilled at meticulously designing lesson plans tailored to the course content.
I offer personalized Mandarin courses for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners. Whether you wish to improve your speaking skills, prepare for the HSK exam, learn business Chinese, or simply express yourself with greater confidence, I am here to help.
My teaching style is patient and results-oriented, with lessons tailored specifically to your learning goals. I believe that learning Chinese can be both enjoyable and highly effective.

Hello! My name is Marilyn, and I am a certified international Chinese language teacher. I am also someone who loves fashion and style, and I am passionate about helping students from around the world learn Mandarin in a way that is relaxed, enjoyable, and highly effective.
I teach students at all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. My curriculum is diverse and comprehensive, covering topics such as daily conversation, HSK exam preparation, business Chinese, travel Chinese, pronunciation and listening skills, and Chinese culture.
I believe that every student learns differently; therefore, I tailor my lessons to your specific goals, interests, and pace of learning. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, interactive, and practical—aimed at helping you build confidence and use Mandarin naturally in real-life situations.
